Here is a way to know how many notes per beat to play when using a metronome:
The mathematics of it all:
Whole notes/quarter notes = one note per beat (or click)
8th notes = two notes per beat
16th notes = four notes per beat
32nd notes = eight notes per beat
64th notes = sixteen notes per beat
128th notes = thirty-two notes per beat
From what I have read quater & eighth notes are the most commonly used and sixteenths are the norm when shredding... _________________ PE Community | Guitar Gallery by Mike |
